Serious Disrespect

Recently been really disturbed at the
attempts of these
cut n paste sloppy copy cats out there.
since this surge of polynesian tattoo emergence.
There have been a flood of these
culture vultures and style bitters
and they are flooding the industry just getting away with a lot
of bullshit.

I rarely have to call people out nor like to. But lines are being crossed
and respect is being lost. people need to be taught
how to go about this tattoo thing with the right intention
and correct approach-
and proper apprenticeship.

if you dont study with us or part of our lineage of artists
please stop copying our designs our flows
our style is our signature.
There is a code and ethics behind the way we do our work.
It involves study , travel and learning
deep rooted meanings. This doesnt necessarily reflect
everyone elses story.

Soulsignature is a family based crew
and have been cultivating for many years
through lineage of mentors and teachers along the way.
Meeting with other tribe members doing research and
creating a very unique and distinct style,
this style is taught n handed down only to the ones who sit and study with after many years and have affiliation with in a very personal basis.

Be influenced be moved be inspired but please do your self a favor
and learn your own creative path. Don't just jump on the wagon and
jack peoples art. Near and far its being done
without regulation- This is a matter of respect
for the barer of the mark, and respect for the artist .

families involved and real people who truly have a
connection with the images and lines
and most important a personal story.

Tattoos are something that transcends time and goes beyond
the spirit of the soul.

These are examples of these foolish amateurs.

I do not know this guy personally
but he insists on copying the original
Leo Malaya

Beware of these overnight tatuists
claiming to fame all the while doing some one elses style.
your lines might be straight and you may have many clients
who praise you.
But in the end of that tattoo which will never come off
a very disgraceful thing you have committed against
the people who that truly belongs to.

That mistake you can never make right.
